Aims & Goals
What is PARL
The Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) ministry is part of the global endeavour of the Seventh-day Adventist church to create favourable conditions to share the good news of freedom and to invite all to loving fellowship with God and fellow human beings. Additionally, PARL’s mandate is to promote and develop a culture of human rights grounded on human dignity and on the belief in the creation of all humans in God’s image, free to fellowship with God and fellow human beings.
Our Mission
To ensure that members of the Chiswick Seventh Day Adventist church and the local community are aware of all public affairs and religious liberty (PARL) issues particularly pertaining to the U.K and Europe.
Our Vision
Monitor and raise awareness of social, cultural, legal, political and religious developments in a changing world with particular reference to Europe and the UK
Our Method
Provide guidance and support to individuals facing religious observance and workplace scheduling problems, discrimination, or restrictions on their ability to manifest their religious beliefs.
